Rain, Rain, Go Away : Memphis, TN Photographer

A few weeks ago, I had a photography first. For the first time ever I had a shoot in the rain. Usually, when it's raining, you work with it, but most likely reschedule. Not fun. I always look forward to every shoot, and this young lady was a Senior session that I was really excited about. A friend of Ms. K, she happened to be in town for one day only, so there was no rescheduling. I thought it would hold off, but then about 15 minutes into the session, the bottom decides to drop out and it rained like crazy.

After waiting about 15 minutes for it to subside, we decided to take some around the gazebo that was on location. Genius! I can't take credit for it though. It was Ms. K's idea. It ended up clearing up by the end, making for some gorgeous even lighting.

Always up for a challenge, it ended up being awesome. It was so fun to watch these good friends interact, and have so much fun together. And I LOVE the way the rain looked in some of the background shots. Amazing. Thanks Ms. Colie. You were a dream to work with, even if the weather didn't want to cooperate.
