The H Family: Memphis, TN Family Photographer

I am getting so excited about all the fall family sessions coming up. I love meeting new folks, but it is so much fun to get to visit with folks that I already know and LOVE! We had a great time last weekend with the H family. I helped capture Jeff and Carol's wedding a couple of years ago, and it's been so fun to see their sweet Mason grow from newborn til now. The first year goes so fast. I thought their session was fantastic but my favs were hands down the sweet mom and baby shots we did at the end. There is something special about the mom and baby bond. So sweet. Thanks for the great morning!

Enjoy your peek guys!

Meet Britton: Cordova, TN Baby Photographer

The fall is here in full swing. It's been crazy the last few weeks, trying to juggle everything. I'm trying to tell myself that I love the insanity of it all, but we were able to go camping for about 48 hours during the last week and I was spoiled. Completely unplugged, and unreachable. My little family got to be together, hang with great friends, and just enjoy each other. No distractions. It makes me long for another lull in life. Good thing Christmas will be here before you know it.

I thought I would take a little time to showcase one of my favorite session. The Baby Club - three mini sessions with 5 images each on CD for only $100. It's a steal, and I love it because it allows you to capture how much those little ones change and grow that first year. It's exciting to watch.

Enjoy Mr Britton. Love those gorgeous blue eyes, and his huge smile. It completely lights up his whole face, and I found it completely adorable. He was such a cute little guy, and you'll be seeing more of him over the next few months!

Here's to starting off the week right, by catching up on the blog... DSC_0117bw DSC_0048DSC_0143DSC_0137DSC_0132

Good Intentions & the H Family

Oh blog. You've been neglected. I am trying to give everything a face lift, while working on pictures for a local cheer gym, and balancing being a mom of three. Some days it's better than others. But in trying to give ole mebs website a new look, I've been putting off getting caught up on the blog. Which is not good, seeing as how a few weeks from now will start the spring sessions. (speaking of which, if you'd like to see what slots are available, you can find those HERE.)

I am so excited about spring. It's going to be fantastic. The great color of springs, new buds and the emerging green. Meeting new friends, especailly catching up with some old ones. It can't come fast enough. But for today, I'm gonna give you a look back at one of my black Friday favs. Such a sweet family. So photogenic. I love these guys. I captured their wedding reception a few years back and was so excited that they moved back to Tennessee with baby girl! Thanks H family for hanging out with me, and for not laughing too much at all the waddling I was doing at this point last year. Enjoy all the gorgeousness...

Meet Logan: Memphis, TN Newborn Photographer

This little guy was three weeks old when we finally got together. Such a cute little one. The last two newborn sessions I have done have been not at my place, but I've been venturing out more to the homes of parents, and have been completely thrilled with the results. I love the challenge of working with lighting, and the diversity of props and such that you can be inspired by when you are in a completely foreign location. It didn't hurt that this mom has her home decked out like it's a showroom from the pottery barn catalog. I love it when little ones already have their mind made up about what they do & don't like. It just further solidifies my own theory that they come down from day one with their own little personalities. Thanks M family for opening up your home, to dad for taking big sister shopping and to the library so we could work, and for mom letting me rearrrange and play in your lovely home. Great family, sweet baby. Who could ask for more?

Meet Adelaide : Memphis, TN Newborn Photographer

I met this little sweet cheeks in June. Gasp! Yes, I am that behind in bloggin folks. She was such a sweet little gal, and when I call her sweet cheeks, it's because I completely fell in love with her little cheeks and gorgeous eyes. She was such a good sport with all the moving and shaking that we had going on. And I loved that her mommy came prepared with her very own tutu dress. So fun. Thanks Mom! It really was a treat getting to visit with you and little miss here. Congrats to big brother and family on their new arrival!

Baby B: Memphis, TN Photographer

Dear Baby B,
What a sweet smile you have. And so much expression! I was in photographer heaven when you mom walked in with blankets and different toys that all had special meaning and were something important to your sweet family. It makes the session that much better to have things with your sweet little smiles that are part of your family heritage. What a good sport you are and starting to move so well! Such a good crawler for your seven month self. It will be interesting to see how your little personality emerges over the next year. Thanks so much mom, for bringing Baby B over for a visit! We think our T family friends are awesome!

Love,
M

Baby A: 4 Months Old

Little Mr. A, It's taken a while for us to get this together, but it finally happened last week, and it really was great to get to spend some time with you and your family. I love the age of 3-4 months. You have personalities really starting to show through. Lots of smiles, cooing. Great head control, their strength at so young never ceases to amaze me. It's a great time to capture your little one. Here are just some of my favs, though I pretty much loved all of them. Thanks so much K family for taking the time and for the crowd control help! This little one with those gorgeous eyes. I foresee those eyes stealing the heart of many a young gal! Enjoy.

Sweet Baby J: Memphis, TN Photographer

Last week I got to hang out with this little man and his super cool mommy and crew. I say crew because all of his older siblings were around because of fall break, and it's apparent that this little guys is very well loved. Not that most babies aren't, but I am not sure I've ever seen siblings dote like they do on this little guy.

One month old, and already looking bigger every time I've seen him since, it was a joy to hang with baby Jonah. Thanks so much guys. Enjoy his peaceful slumbers.

Little Mr. J : Memphis, TN Photographer

This post is a long time coming. A few weeks ago I got to hang out with Mr. J and his mommy. He was only a week old, and such an absolute doll. Love those little lips, little nose, little hands, little toes. Thanks J's mommy for letting us hang out! You can already tell, he's going to be a dashingly handsome little lad.
