Baby Club: Ivy, 9 months: Bartlett, TN Child Photographer

I love this baby, and it's totally unfair that she's going to be graduating from baby club soon. Say it isn't so! These little ones are getting way too big, too fast. So gorgeous. Any day to visit with Miss Ivy and her momma is a good day.

Enjoy the gorgeousness...

Coleman, 3 mths: Memphis, TN Baby Photographer

I adore this little guy. He was so smiley and handsome when we got together last week. Oh! The expressions! Three months is usually kinda a tough age, just because they are working so hard to control their facial expressions. But this little charmer had no problems whatsoever!

Thanks so much Mom for making it happen! Enjoy your peek!

Baby Club: Zach's 1! Collierville, TN Child Photographer

So here's the end of the week long blog train of cuteness.

Baby club graduates. It's kinda depressing in an amazingly adorable way. Does that make sense? Well, if you don't understand it, then you've probably never had a one year old. You look back on the first year as so bitter sweet. Never before was life so physically demanding as taking care of a newborn, and then they grow and you see their personality… It's a beautiful process. One I love capturing.

Here's our sweet Zach. He's been so awesome to photograph that I'm really sad I won't be able to visit with mom and sister every three months anymore (playdates, Shelly?!?) I'm seriously gonna have withdrawals. I feel this way every time a little one passes this milestone, but with Zach it's been particularly rough because I know my own Lilly is right behind him. Once again, he did a fantastic job, though I thought it was funny to catch more of his "smolder" along with his great smiles. It's always great to see you awesome folks!

Enjoy your peek!

Miss Elena: Collierville, TN Child Photographer

It has been so nice getting together again with folks. And what better way to get into the swing of photography again then by getting together with a bunch of gorgeous kids! Last weekend I had 4 sessions with such sweet little ones that it's got me excited about photography again. So fun.

Miss Elena is part of our baby club and has just passed the 6 month milestone. It's crazy how fast that first year flies. She was a model newborn and three month-er, and six months was much of the same gorgeousness. Just a lot more sweet smiles. Those personalities emerging is so much fun. We snapped a few with mom & dad as well and I love them. Thanks so much H family, you know I think you're awesome!

Enjoy your peek!

Baby Club with Ivy: Lakeland, TN Child Photographer

Yesterday, I got to meet up with this little beauty, and her momma. Is it just me or do all these little ones seem to look like baby dolls? It's uncanny. I think 6-8 months is my favorite stage. Sweet and smiley, but not moving and running away from the camera. It's the best! Thanks for having such good looking kids M family! Love them.

Enjoy your peek!

Baby Club with Elena: Collierville, TN Child Photographer

Today is the beginning of the baby parade. The last few weeks it's been newborns and babies, mostly under one year old. That first year of life is so full of sweetness and milestones. It's tough not to miss how fast they grow. It seems appropriate that our first "model" is Miss Elena, seeing is how she's been photo ready since she was born. One of my easiest newborn shoots of the year, she is just so chill and easy going. And gorgeous, let's not forget gorgeous. It's gonna be exciting to see her grow this year!

This isn't a peek (because Mom picked up her images yesterday... I've been swamped with kids and school) as much as it's beautiful and I don't want to forget to post! Thanks for the patience guys!

Baby Zach: Memphis, TN Child Photographer

The last few weeks have been kinda nuts. Cheer pictures and spring break this year combined just about did me in, and I'm just now starting to get caught up. I think that 8-9 months is my favorite age to photography the first year. They are usually sitting up and so smiley and the cuteness factor is off the charts. Though I have to say every time I get together with Mr. Zach, he is a photographers dream. Such a sweet kiddo. I love it. I am in complete awe that he's almost to a year already. Time is flying! I'm kinda in denial because he's only a month older than my little Lilly.

Enjoy your peek & thanks so much for your patience guys!

For Scott: Lakeland, TN Baby Photographer

You may notice the difference in blog posts. Usually, I address them to mom, or the wife, because lets be honest, the photos are taken for her. It's few and far between when I get men that actually want to be there at a session. Happy wife, happy life I suppose. But I thought it interesting when I got together with this super fun family to shoot their newborn session, that dad said that baby boy didn't like to have his photo taken, "just like his dad, it must run into the family…" (quotes here are used for drama, I don't remember exactly how he said it, or it could be blamed on hormones because I was uber pregnant at the time, and we all know pregnant women are subject to hear anything whether it's actually said or not..) But I do remember thinking that I wasn't sure if an aversion to photo sessions was genetically transferrable or not… Hmmm.

Well, this here is for Scott because I wanted him to know how amazingly adorable his little boy was, and that he's officially crossed over to the dark side. He rocked the shoot last week and I thought it was awesome. I was so excited with what a happy and sweet boy he was, and that we could actually capture that cuddly cuteness! So, now that I know all of his smile-age potential, I'm never going back to accepting anything from amazing from this little one. Maybe he's just got more of his mommy in him ;)

Enjoy your peek folks! Full gallery up tomorrow~

Easter Minis: For Baby Alex

This little guy joined the baby club right before Christmas, and I was so excited to get together with him and his parents again.

Seriously, this kid was a complete ham. So easy to get a smile out of. It made me giggle. And those eyes! He's still got the most gorgeous blue eyes. He's growing up into such a handsome little guy. I think with the eyes and smile combo you guys are going to have a lady killer on your hands. So fun.

Enjoy this time mom & dad. He's a complete dream. DSC_0023 DSC_0089bw DSC_0111

If you're looking for the Spring Mini Session times, you can CLICK HERE...

I love getting together with newborn sessions. They always end up being so fresh and cute, but one of my second favorite type of sessions is probably "baby club". It's a package where you sign up for three mini-mini sessions, every three months for the first year of life. It makes it fun to see how much they grow and change every few months. It takes about 20 minutes to snap some images, and mom and dad get to keep 5 on a disk. I give images for these and not reglar sessions just because they are more for the scrapbooks than wall prints. Every once in a while, I have a little cutie that completely changes my philosophy. As in, I would totally put all of them on the wall if I were their parent, obsessive, no?

I'd like to re-introduce you to Miss Aven. She's graduating from the baby club this month. I was able to meet her mom and dad last summer when she was born, and we just finished her 9 month session last week. CRAZY! She's such a sweet little gal. Always so accomidating, loves to smile for big sisters, and completely gorgeous. Thanks so much Brooke for a great morning playdate. We did these in their home, and I love the dramatic lighting. And oh how I love the girlness that mom picked out for her outfits. So adorable.

Have a great Monday! Enjoy! DSC_0069 DSC_0055 DSC_0101 DSC_0039 DSC_0133
