Meet Daphne: Germantown, TN Newborn Photographer

Last week I got to meet the sweetest little girl. Her mom and dad came by for some newborn pics and I thought her session turned beautiful. She even gave us some sweet smiles. I love it when little ones do that. It gives you a sense of what they are gonna look like as adults and I think it's awesome. My most favorite images from this session were the shots we did at the very end of baby with both parents. It doesn't matter if it's your first child, or your fifth. There is something beautiful of bonding with your new little one just as mom and dad and I love being able to capture those moments.

Meet Kayson: Germantown, TN Newborn Photographer

Last weekend I got to meet the sweetest little guy. He was a complete angel and I can honestly say that I have never had a more smiley baby. Ever. For Real. He did an amazing job and I loved meeting both mom and dad. Such great folks all around.

It is a lot of work to get these little ones snug and photographed, but I love every second of being able to capture the newness of it all. They grow so quickly that it feels like such an honor to see them so tiny and perfect. I hope you enjoy your peek Nicole! Meet Tau: Germantown, TN Newborn Photographer

I am so excited to share this sweet little guy with you! I have known his mom Abby for years and we've loved her like family. It's so exciting to see them add their first little guy to their family.

Baby Tau did such a great job hamming it up for the camera, though his biggest smiles we when he got around a football. Good thing too, as his dad plays for U of M and that's what brought him here to the south! I sure love being able to snuggle such sweet little ones. There is something completely beautiful from capturing them straight after they get here from heaven.

Meet Ford: Fayette County, Newborn Photographer

It's been a little bit since I did a lifestyle newborn session, so when Sarah Beth asked me to do one for her sweet little guy I was excited for a change of newborn scenery. Last year Sarah Beth was teacher for my Lukas, and she pretty much should be given sainthood for that. My boy has the best heart, but can be a handful at times. I was touched by how much she loves all of her students, and was so impressed by her. I got to meet her sweet family for photos last fall, and was really looking forward to meeting their new baby boy, Ford. 

Lifestyle sessions are different than regular newborn sessions because they are less posed and more about capturing baby in their own element. It's just a different style. I like to have them in their element, but also like to make sure there are some elements of posing there, because I feel it adds just a little more polish to any old photo that folks can take with their iPhones now a days. 

Ford did such a good job, so did big brother Finn. Their home was gorgeous and I thought that it turned out beautiful. It's so amazing to capture families at their best. I love it.

Meet Jade Alice: Germantown, TN Newborn Photographer

Ok. I'm gonna try not to be too partial, but this baby is amazing. She must have really great genetics. 

What's not to love? Can you tell I'm a proud aunt? 

This is how I got to spend my snow day, and I was in heaven. While everyone else was out running about and being frozen, I got to snuggle with this sweet little dear and capture some shots of her newness. It was fantastic. When I was pregnant with Bennett, my 11 year old Kate looked at me one day and said, "I'm never going to get pregnant. It looks like too much work." I told her that it's something you suffer through because the incredible cuteness is worth it. One look and Bennett and baby Jade, and Kate agreed. The incredible cuteness makes it all worth it!

Meet Dale: Bartlett, TN Newborn Photographer

I always think it's interesting to see items people want to have their newborn sessions. I think it's great with folks already come with ideas or inspiration of what they want with their newborn session. I've known Shea since we were young kids, and by far she takes the award for most props brought to a session, and I completely adore how they all turned out. 

So much cute baby gorgeousness! It completely gives her a unique session, and I thought it was fantastic. I loved the homage to Harry Potter, and of course if you know her family, you can't not have some baseball in there. They are a baseball loving bunch. Baby Dale did a great job, and was so easy to work with. It was a photographers dream and I adored the way they turned out. Does this mean everyone brings a lot of baby stash? No. My husband will attest to the tubs of things I have for these types of sessions. It's a completely personal preference, but they turned out so cute! 

Snuggle your sweet baby Dale lots. He'll be moving and shaking before you know it!
