A + G, Engaged! Collierville, TN Couples Photographer

I was so excited to hear that these two fantastic folks were engaged. I was even more excited when the bride to be called to ask me to capture their engagement shots! So exciting! Love it real. It's beautiful, and these folks just make it completely gorgeous. I think at one point while editing this session I actually sighed. So sweet. I completely loved them all and thought they did a great job. It's great to see the coming together of two families that I think the world of. Did I mention how exciting I am for these two great friends?!?

Both future bride and groom did great. They both looked classically flawless, and I thought their formal attire for the session was perfect. Great lighting and gorgeous people make a great recipe for photography. Thanks so much guys for being so easy to work with and so much fun to capture! Best of luck as your love continues to grow! Enjoy your peek!

For Alyssa: Collierville TN Couples Photographer

I'm in the home stretch of editing sessions from two weeks ago, and I thought I'd show some previews of what I've been working on. I just can't get over all the gorgeousness. I love working with kids. It's so much fun. But man, it's really nice just to have adults to capture. Almost like it's too easy, and I'm not working hard enough.

These shots turned out amazing! I love Chris and Alyssa. We met about a year ago, when she started working for my husbands office, and we think they are both awesome. They've also been Sunday School teachers for my almost-8-year-old, which pretty much means they've got a place secured in heaven, because he's a tough one sometimes. Sweet kid, but tough. I think the world of them both, and hope they enjoy their peek!

Thanks for being so patient guys!

Sneak Peek for Karen: Memphis, TN Couples Photographer

I spent last weekend with these two, and they were oh so nice. It was a lot of fun to try and capture new, fresh love. They were such great sports about it all! Don't they look completely gorgeous. I feel like they should be in a magazine somewhere. I adored all of Karen's accesories. Gorgeous!

Due to the sickly folks that I've been living with it's taken me a little bit longer than normal to finish this session.

Thanks for being patient guys. More to come soon, promise!

Enjoy. DSC_0054 DSC_0136 DSC_0108 DSC_0124 DSC_0204

The W Family: Memphis, TN Photographer

Speaking of awesome couples, I got to visit with these amazing folks a few weeks ago. I have known this young lady for almost as long as I can remember myself. We grew up together, but she was always the youngest sister of one of my best friends. I have loved getting to know her as an adult. These two have so much fun together, and are their happiness is contagious. Thanks guys for being so flexible. It's always fun when you show up to a location to find a carnival going on. Being able to roll with the punches of life is part of what I think makes you both amazing. Best of luck in your future endeavors guys!

Rays of Sunshine : Memphis, TN Photographer

Thinking of warmer days, and sunny personalities makes me remember this family shoot that I had back last October. It was one of my first real customer-like-gigs, and you couldn't ask for a better one. I say customer-like, because that word sounds so harsh. After spending the afternoon with them, I did feel like family, not like I was doing a job. This group of folks were highly entertaining, and helped work with me as I was playing with different lighting situations and such. It was very relaxing and fun. It's so neat to be able to see how different family dynamics interact and function. I am pretty sure that I spent just as much time laughing with them as I did taking pictures. We sure will miss not being so close to these guys when we move away. Did I just say move? We aren't moving. I think I am in denial.
