Riley & Tyler: Class of 2016

A few weeks back I got the chance to photograph senior portraits for these two sisters. I always wanted a twin, thankfully I've got two amazing sisters that could be my twin at any given time. It's not the exact same, but sisters are just plain amazing.

Combine that sister awesomeness with senior portraits and gorgeous weather and you've got a great afternoon. Thanks ladies for letting me boss you around and be a little crazy. I thought you did fantastic! Though I don't think it's fair to have so much gorgeousness in one family… Dad better watch out as he unleashes you both into the world!

Enjoy your peek!

The T Family: Germantown, TN Family Photographer

Here's another sneak peek for a family from before fall break. It was great to meet the T family with their super cute kids and laid back style. I loved just being able to watch how well all the little people got along with each other. Little sister better watch out with all these big brothers, the shots of the guys all together were some of my favorites of the week. Though being the adorable heartbreaker she's bound to be, she will have no trouble keeping them on their toes. I completely loved how this session turned out. The fall colors with their cute outfits were a perfect combination for awesome. Never mind that we're finally getting some weather that isn't completely unbearable to work it.

Thanks so much guys for the great afternoon, and all the gorgeous smiles! Enjoy your peek!

Another great session from last weekend coming your way. I love all the color and the fact that the weather was amazing both days. I love Novembers in Tennessee. Football, soup, and leaf color explosion. It's gorgeous. Add to that some really cute families and you've got a great recipe for portrait perfection! I love the little divas that the M family introduced me to last weekend. All girls have a little diva in them, and I think it's so fun to watch it emerge as soon as the camera comes out. They were adorable, and I think that being sisters is one of the sweetest relationships possible. I have two sisters that are remarkable women, and are my best friends. It's my hope that one day my own girls will be as close. So to see sweet sisters, as well as partners in crime… Well, it's just beautiful! These folks had some seriously awesome family group shots, so I had to share lots. I don't envy them having to pick and choose their favorites. What a fantastic end to a day!

Thanks so much Lauren for letting me meet your gorgeous family and enjoy your peek!

For Sara: Germantown, TN Family Photographer

Just as exciting as seeing the old but good folks, is the chance to meet and capture new families as well. I completely love capturing families, it's by far my favorite type of session because of the beauty and love that exist between parents and kids. As much as I love photography, I know that my own kids and family is my life's greatest work and career. So when I get to see parents and families that are doing their best, and loving their little ones it's so inspiring for me to keep doing the same in my own little corner of the world. That was reflected a lot here with the F family. When you have little ones, some of my favorite shots to capture are the non-posed more candid ones. It's more real, and feels so much less forced, especially if you've got little ones that are not so easily coerced into playing our photo games. Thanks so much Sara and Bryan for not judging me for acting like a clown, and for having such a gorgeous family to capture. It was my pleasure.

Enjoy your peek! Full gallery up tonight!

Here's another group of folks I was so excited to see again. We met last year when Miss Charlotte was about to join the family. I can't believe how much she's grown into a complete doll. Luke is such a sweet big brother, and was such a little gentleman. I was so impressed when we got together how well they did. One year olds are not easy eggs to crack, but she did great! I am loving the fall colors and all the gorgeousness. It there any wonder why this is my favorite time of year.

Enjoy your peek Carmen, full gallery will be up by midnight!

Here we have another fantastic fall family. Last week, we decided to take advantage of the awesome last day of good weather and it ended up being a great session. I was so impressed with these boys and their parents. So good, so patient and kind. You can just tell how much they love each other. Thanks so much guys for being so flexible and I can't wait to show you the rest.
