Mr McKay: Memphis, TN Newborn Photographer

Wow folks. Time is flying by. Today my little guy is three months old. Life has been going by in a complete blur, but we've been having a blast. The sibs love their little guy, as do Ben and I. To celebrate his three monthness, he slept last night from 9 til 6:30 this morning. We both did a happy dance when he woke up. It was fantastic. It's amazing the difference sleep makes. He is so cute. He loves to be sung to, snuggled with, and is one of those babies that will totally fall asleep in your arms while your making dinner. Not that I do that all the time or anything...ahem. He snores like an 80 year old man. So much so that we call him "Little Darth", and walk around saying "Luke, I am your Brooother". Those big kids just look at Ben and I like they have the weirdest parents in the world. One days they'll realize how funny we are....

I have completely enjoyed this little one in different ways than my other two. Maybe it takes two for you to feel relaxed enough to just cherish the snuggles and roll with the rough times. It helps that he's a complete angel baby. Heaven knows I could not handle another fireball right now with the husband working so much, and chasing around the other two kidlets. We are blessed. I thought I would share his newborn session in honor of making it three months. Was it perfect? Nope. It was really hard for me to feel creative when he was two weeks old. I think sleep deprivation will do that to an artist. But I do love that I captured him myself, and that I will always have a physical reminder that is so unique to newborns. Have a great week all!
