A few months ago we had a new baby. I've always loved being able to take my own kids milestone sessions, because that's the reason why we do professions like this, am I right? But after McKay was born and I attempted to do his newborn shots (which I now refer to as the nightmarish newborn session of all time…) I decided that this was one that I'd have to give up. It took all day, every time I'd get a shot set up someone would be hungry. It was insane. Fast forward to this past August. Before I had Lilly, I had contacted a good friend who has helped me second shoot some weddings, and I've always admired her work. Not to mention the props she uses… She has fantastic style. I completely loved the way the ones of my sweet little girl that she captured and now it is my turn to return the favor.
There is no easy way to shoot a session with four kids. It's tough stuff, but when you get some amazing shots like these is it any wonder that they love each other so much! And it's so worth all the work! Thanks so much M family for being so cute and well coordinated (i mentioned Mom's great style, right?) It's kinda stressful shooting for another photographer. I've been obsessed with making sure they were perfect.
Enjoy your peek! (and there are a ton to peek at… because it took me forever to edit them! Thanks for the patience!)
