For Ruth: Arlington, TN Family Photographer

It's not every day that I get end up laughing and having such a good time that I take over 500+ pics. I'm usually pretty good about keeping it around the 300 mark, and then from there I cull through to find the best of the best and then prep and edit those for clients. Needless to say, I went a little crazy.

Last week I got to hang out with these completely awesome folks and capture their family. It wasn't the best weather, but at least it wasn't raining. I'm pretty sure my phrase of the day was "stop looking so cold", or it could have been "Calvin…" I'm not altogether sure. All I know is that a session is good if you all walk away laughing (special thanks to the Robertson gentleman), and that I'm finding more often my favorite shots are the non-posed real ones. They are simply beautiful and REAL. So I thought I'd share some of those. People photograph at their best when they are most natural, love each other and having a sense of humor doesn't hurt. These folks were oozing with such qualities and it made for a gorgeous session to work on. Thanks so much guys for letting me capture your awesomeness and for loving your mother so much to take so many amazing shots (Ahem…I know what you're looking for and they won't be posted here… This isn't that kinda blog ;)
